Edward: Hello, my name is Edward Green. I would like to speak to Mr.Smith, please.

Secretary: I am sorry that Mr.Smith isn’t available.

Edward: OK, I’ll ring back. Does Mr.Smith have a direct line?

Secretary: I’m sorry that the number is confidential.

Edward: OK, thank you.

Jenny: It’s very difficult to speak to Mr.Smith.

Edward: Yes, I know.

Telephone answer: Good morning, RUWT Advertising.

Don: Good morning, this is Don Bradley. Can I talk to Phil Watson, please?

Telephone answer: What company are you from, please?

Don: Buyery System.

Telephone answer: I’ll put you through.

Telephone answer: Phil Watson’s phone.

Don: Good morning, Can I talk to Phil, please?

Telephone answer: Can I ask who’s calling, please?

Don: Don Beadley from Buyery System.

Telephone answer: Well, Mr.Phil isn’t at the office in the moment. Can I take the message or would you like to ring him on the mobile phone?

Don: I’ll try the mobile. Can I have the number, please?

Telephone answer: 0802 543 77

Don: Just let me check that. 0802 543 77.

Telephone answer: That’s it.

Don: Thanks.

Phil: Hello, Phil Watson.

Don: Hello Phil, this is Don Bradley.

Phil: Hello Don, sorry to keep you waiting. How are you?

Don: I’m fine, thanks. Can we meet? We have a new prodcut and I want you to see it.

Secretary: Hello, Mr.Smith’s office.

Edward: Hello, my name is Edward Green from Buyery System. I rang earlier, I would like to speak to Mr.Smith, please?

Secretary: I’m afraid Mr.Smith isn’t in the office at the moment. Can I ask what it is about?

Edward: It is very important. I represent Buyery System, We’ve got a new product and I want Mr.Smith to see it.

Secretary: Please sent the product specification by mail Mr.Green.

Edward: I would like Mr.Smith to see the product. I would like to spedk to Mr.Smith direct, when is the good time to call?

Secretary: You could try ringing this afternoon.

Edward: Thank you, good bye.
